Actually no, I already had the website and blog for a while but wasn’t really clear on how to get it going and how to utilize it properly. But yes, it was down to Alex Jeffreys and Dean Holland that actually got me to start taking decisive action, so you’re right to spot Alex’s influence! 😉
I originally set up my site in around September 2011 after purchasing some other products and courses and, although these had some great stuff there were some vital “how to” parts missing, so the site sort of just sat here for a while. Plus, my mother became seriously ill so the majority of my time and focus was taken up by taking care of her until she unfortunately passed away in May of last year.
After taking a couple of months or so to sort some stuff out after my mum’s death I discovered some glowing testimonials about a fellow Brit called Alex Jeffreys who I hadn’t heard of. I say “some” but after I did some looking up about him it became “loads”! Of course if anyone does some research on Alex then it’s likely that Dean Holland’s name will also crop up. So I did some looking up about Dean too and found that he also provided great content. Both these guys stood out from anyone else I’d discovered thus far.
So to cut a long story short, I noticed that both guys teach quite emphatically the need to have a blog if you’re wanting to have an IM business so I figured that it was about time that I actually started to learn properly about how to do this stuff and that maybe I should actually start using my blog. So I finally got it set up properly and since purchasing a couple of products from both Alex and Dean I’ve been able to have a clearer picture of just what’s involved and what I need to do to move forward. Just one hour of Alex’s coaching probably taught me more than I’ve learned in the last ten years put together!
So it’s onwards and upwards for me now for sure – 2013 here I come!
