What U.F.O.’s Can Teach You About Making Money Online

What U.F.O.’s Can Teach You About Making Money Online

making money onlineU.F.O.’s.

This is a subject that is steeped in controversy and, regardless of your beliefs on the subject, you have to admit that, at the very least, it can be interesting.

One thing thing I want to make very clear from the outset, though, is that U.F.O.’s exist.

Notice I didn’t make any claims about extraterrestrials or suchlike. That’s because I’m not talking about aliens. I’m talking about U.F.O.’s.

“U.F.O.” simply means “Unidentified Flying Object.” Therefore, if something is flying and it hasn’t been identified, by definition it is a U.F.O.

Nothing more, nothing less.

I’ve seen U.F.O.’s myself. Again, I didn’t say anything about aliens. I’m not claiming that what I’ve seen are alien spacecraft. All I am saying is that I have seen things flying in the sky that weren’t drones, conventional aircraft, birds, swamp gas, the planet Venus or anything else that could be identified.

What I saw, I couldn’t identify, ergo U.F.O. What they actually were or were not is a whole other thing.

making money onlinePeople’s Views on U.F.O.s

There are many opinions regarding the topic of U.F.O.’s. Some people believe that U.F.O.’s don’t exist full stop. Some people believe that some of them are alien spacecraft. Others believe that they are secret military craft. Still others believe that they are military craft that have been created through reverse-engineering of captured alien spacecraft. There are even those who believe that they are craft belonging to time-travelers from the future.

What I’ve noticed during my time as an online marketer is that the attitude of many people towards making money online is identical to the attitude that many people have towards evidence of U.F.O.’s.

Here’s what I mean:

I’m sure that you, like me, have seen video footage or photos of U.F.O.’s.

What I’ve noticed is that people’s viewpoints fall into three distinct camps:

Those who believe that the footage/photos are genuine, no matter what.

Those who simply aren’t sure what to believe.

Then there are those who are dismissive and will take an opposing view, no matter what is presented to them or how.

The ones who fall into this third camp are so cynical that it seems that they will find any excuse to find fault and look for arguments.

For example, a photo or some video footage might appear, but it isn’t clear just what is in it. It might look as though it isn’t easily explained away but, at the same time, it isn’t clear just what it contains.

On these occasions the skeptics usually respond as follows:

“How come all this supposed U.F.O. footage is always blurry?”

“Why couldn’t the photographer zoom in?”

make money online“It too dark to make anything out.”

But when some clear footage or a clear photo emerges, what do these same people cry?

“It’s obviously a fake!”

“It’s too clear, it looks like it’s straight out of Hollywood!”

“It must have been created using C.G.I.”

There’s just no pleasing them!

If the photo/footage isn’t clear enough then they moan about it not being clear enough. When it’s clear enough they moan that it’s too clear so must be fake.

You can’t win!

Making Money Online

The “Make Money Online” space is one that contains a variety of information, whether it be e-books, courses, coaches and so on.

But some people take the same view towards it as they do towards the subject of U.F.O.’s.

They might comes across a particular product and complain:

“It’s too vague – why don’t they say exactly what it is/what it does?”

“There isn’t enough detail.”

“It seems like they’re hiding something.”

Now, all of the above might well be legitimate concerns. After all, there is a lot of rubbish around, just as there is a lot of fake U.F.O. footage around.

But then when a genuine product comes along that has good sales copy that states clearly what the product is, along with proof of any claims then the nay-sayers STILL find things to moan about:

make money online“That can’t be real.”

“There’s obviously a catch.”

“Making money online is all a scam!”

Perhaps you’re someone who has looked into making money online. Maybe you have bought rubbish or, even worse, been downright conned in the past.

Either way, I feel your pain. You’re not the first and, sadly, you’re unlikely to be the last.

But look, here’s the bottom line, folks:

It IS possible to make money online.

I have done it and I am doing it. I know it can be done.

And it can be done legitimately. Anyone who says otherwise is talking utter nonsense, frankly.

But here’s the thing:

You have to look at the subject realistically. Just as you shouldn’t simply take all alleged evidence of U.F.O.’s as being 100% truth, you shouldn’t assume that everything people tell you online is the truth.

You have to do your due diligence and look at things objectively.

But, at the same time, it’s no good being so cynical that you stubbornly ignore the facts and the proof.

What I can tell you is something that a lot in this industry won’t tell you:

Making money online legitimately requires work.

The degree of work will vary, but it requires work, nonetheless. It is the same as with any other kind of business. Yes, it might be easier than setting up a ‘bricks and mortar’ business, but it will still require some work.

An Important Truth

make money onlineOne of the most popular and easy ways to get started with making money online is through affiliate marketing.

There is one small problem with this, though:

Affiliate marketing as it once was, is dead.

That isn’t to say that affiliate marketing doesn’t work – it does. I do it all the time, I know it works.

But times have changed. The Internet has changed. And affiliate marketing has changed.

What might have worked and generated big results, say, 10 years ago, doesn’t work as well and generate the same results in 2018.

If you’re thinking about trying affiliate marketing then you need this book.

Likewise, if you’re currently an affiliate marketer and you’ve noticed that things aren’t going as well as they once did, or perhaps you’re even struggling, then you also need this book.

As I said, making money online is possible. Many, many, many people are doing it. Huge companies are doing it.

But it needs to be done in the right way. And, again, if you’re going down the affiliate marketing route then you absolutely need to get this book.

By the way, the book is actually free!

You can get it shipped straight to your door anywhere in the world. You’ll just be asked to cover the cost of shipping.

Have you ever seen a U.F.O.?

Are you currently making money online?

What about affiliate marketing? Have you noticed a shift or are you even struggling to make it work?

I’d love to hear your comments below! 🙂

  1. This is an awesome analogy Glenn!

And it’s so spot on. and just goes to show, whatever particular mindset,
a person happens to be in.

They will always find a way, for the situation, to somehow fit the
narrative currently going on inside their head!LOL!
I came over to your blog, and started skimming headlines, and once
I saw this one.I knew I had to discover your excellent angle! Extremely
well done! I’ve gotta link to this one!Talk soon bud! Great job!

    1. Hey Mark,

I know we’ve spoken a number of times recently, but somehow I missed that you’d left a comment on this post, so my apologies for the late reply!

I’m glad the headline grabbed your attention – it did its job! 😉

      Talk soon, bud!

  2. Fab point about affiliate marketing being a different ballgame than 10 years ago Glenn. Me and Alonzo Pichardo do this all the time, noting the difference between IM a decade ago versus now. Black hat ruled. BIG RED LETTERS TOO LOL. But times change, as do trends, and as we grow, we evolve. People demand substance now. Real value. If you want to make money online, better serve it up.

    1. Hey Ryan,

Just catching up with my replies on here. Let things slip a bit again!

Yep, totally agree with you. Value is where it’s at. Of course, value is always where it should have been at, but people are more picky these days for sure, and rightly so.

Thanks for your valuable input, it’s appreciated as always. 🙂

  3. Hi Glenn,
Love the analogy! It’s so true that people fall into these categories. I was always in the middle. Yes, I was conned, purchased lousy products but never held anything against these folks. What it taught me was never to do anything like that at all. err…not that I would lol

Yes, there is money to be made online. There are so many ways to make it and all we need is a small portion of the pie of online people. When you have that perspective, the niche you are after is so easy to do. Affiliate marketing to me is the easiest of all once you know what you are doing and have a good marketing plan.

This is why it is so important to get the book!

    1. Hi Donna,

The bad apples over the years have a lot to answer for, don’t they? But then I think that we’d still see the cynical skeptics regardless. I do understand why some are skeptical about the make money online scenario, but some aren’t happy no matter what you do.

The importance, as with anything, is balance. And you’re certainly right about affiliate marketing, although it’s not what it once was. But the principle has been around for a long time, yet there are those who doubt its validity. Then you show them the evidence and they doubt the evidence. Go figure!

Thanks for stopping by, Donna, a pleasure as always! 🙂

  4. Hey Glenn,
People are just what they are because of imperfect human nature.
My sister had a party and threw out much to drink. Everyone had more than enough and some folks complained and said she was showing off.
A friend, about 3 months later had another party where he invitees where made up mostly of the same people who attended my sister’s party. This friend hadn’t enough to throw out. Now, the same folks said he was stingy. Some people are just coward in their making. No jokes!

If people want some direct contact with U.F.O. (To really be sure they exist), then there won’t be any. If we can have contact with them, we will be able to identify them and they will cease from being U.F.O

I completely agree with you on Affiliate Marketing. A lot has changed online today. Some old fashioned methods don’t work anymore. We need to be updated to see results with this money making model.

Good to be here again buddy. Hope you are having a great week

    1. Hi Enstine!

Sorry for the very late reply! It’s good to see you and yes, it’s been a while since we connected. Not quite sure how that happened!

You know, as I started reading your story, I knew how it was going to turn out. Some people can be very predictable in their behaviour, right? Just no pleasing them.

You’re right about keeping updated to see results. As Ryan rightly said is his comment, we need to be all about substance and real value. Thankfully, there are good folks around who appreciate and apply this.

Thanks so much for your visit and comment, Enstine. I’ll be sure to stop over at your place soon. 🙂

  5. Hi Glenn,

I have seen multiple U.F.O.’s in the past. Five lights flying in the night sky making maneuvers at speeds not possible in standard aircraft. Not saying that they were extra-terrestrial, just something I couldn’t identify.

I, too, have never claimed to have seen aliens and my story hasn’t changed in the 20+ years since the sighting occurred.

Alas, I’m not currently making money online. Made around $800 in total commissions back in 2016, but couldn’t keep dishing out cash for solo ads.

I’m not in the affiliate marketing niche anymore, but I can see how the knowledge could be valuable to anyone who wants to get involved in it. It’s a great way for bloggers to monetize their blogs, as long as the products they are promoting are legit, as you said.

There will always be those who think everything online is a scam. Screw’em, I say. There are plenty more who will be willing to put in the effort to get the right products and make use of the knowledge they learn.
They will be tomorrow’s success stories.

    Great analogy you made here.

    Have a good one……Chris

    1. Hey Chris,

$800 is a heck of a lot more than most people make who try to make money online. Heck, most probably don’t even manage to make $10. I know that you’ve learned some valuable skills over the years, the key is leverage and tweaking.

Also, don’t forget that just because you’re not in the affiliate marketing niche, it doesn’t mean that the principles of affiliate marketing don’t apply if you want to make money in another niche. Affiliate marketing is affiliate marketing, selling is selling, no matter whether you’re in the make money online niche, golf niche or yes, even the U.F.O. niche (yes, there is such a thing!).

I hope all’s well with you, Chris. Thanks for stopping by, it’s always a pleasure, my friend. 🙂
